With the aim of expanding women’s access to housing loans, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) participated on two financings for banking financial entities for USD400 million.

Through these agreements, some banking institutions will be able to expand their housing loans with a special focus on women. This initiative is aligned with the World Bank’s gender strategy, which seeks to eliminate the barriers that women face in acquiring and controlling real estate.
